Guest guest Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Members, Normally I do not give a reason to the board why someone has been removed, but this time I will make an exception since so many people were nice enough to try to give an explanation of what they were dealing with and the mold exposure itself. cbn has been banned from the group. He had 5 pending posts aswering to people and needless to say they were VERY nasty... Just a small example: You are retarded, to go F.. off, etc. naturally his posts will not be posted. We had a good idea who this person was from another board and he was just a critic and someone who tries to spin the truth in the direction of the " real junk science " out there. Red Flags went off on his first post. To some that again came to the rescue of a defenseless man that I supposedly questioned to hard, well my years of experience of dealing with players and disruptive people has proven correct again. Not to mention that the way this person wrote showed me exactly who he was and that was a main " troublemaker " on another forum. He was just here to hurt, disrupt and generally make people feel worse and that WILL NOT be allowed by anyone. I'm sorry for allowing this person to disrupt the group and upset anyone unnecessarily, but it is always good for everyone to see what some of these idiots have to say and it's usually not much. I would like everyone to see both sides of what we are dealing with. I know it can get very nasty at times, but it's ok to disagree in a civil manner. This cbn was NOT NEW to the board. So he knew who everyone was and the main shakers and movers. He's been on and off the board a number of times since 2005 and never has posted, so obviously he did have an agenda and it was not to the benefit of this group. According to one of his posts that was not released he was referring to our doctors and labs as scams. Like myself there have been many on this board for many years and I have spoken to enough people from all walks of life, in different situations and red flags went up on this one immediately. Hence the direct questioning..... I have had only one agenda from the very beginning and that was to help to enlighten other citizens, understanding,resources and direction, so they may not experience some of which many of us have. I will never forget the frame of mind I was in in the very beginning watching my wife suffer and then how it started to effect my children emotionally. It is very gratifying that I was put in the position to reach out for so many at one time, I just didn't realize how many. My reward and yours, is seeing the day we will no longer need this board. For anyone to incinuate that we are scammers, frauds, fakes or anything else they would like to call us, I hope there is a special place for them to where they will have a chance to live our nightmare.I am a spouce that has not been effected directly by these toxins, I still can't imagine what run through the minds of those that have been. There is so much more I could say on what I feel for those that are alone, fighting this on their own without any moral support, compassion coming from family members or friends. For them I'm sorry. I guess that is why we are here. Guest guest Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Hey KC, You know I have to step back from time to time due to the stress of my illness and it is more than I can deal with, much less discuss. One thing, I want you to know and that is I am behind you 100%. Most folks have NO idea what it takes to run a group or a message board. As a moderator and owner on a different kind of group, most of the time I get along with members but there are those times that a few members are only around to cause problems or to spam my group for personal gain. Then there are those times members forget there are 100's or 1000's of other members and they expect for the group to be centered around them. Some have even expected me to change rules just for them. Some are there to harvest my members...now that is a stinker because I do work hard on building my group. Then there is the gossip, oh yes, gossip, lets not forget that biggie! I heard folks say this and that person say this and that about me and really, it all MUST be taken with a grain of salt, because 9 and a half times out of 10, it is just untruths. It is hard not to listen at times, but as a leader, this I have to do and I am sure you are faced with such hurts and ugly untruths that at times which you have to look at with a grain of salt. This can take a bit of discipline! No joke! There are times I wonder why in the world do I spend so much time managing a group with no pay only to put up with a bunch of silly BS. I then have to remember the service that I am providing and without it, folks would not have what I to offer on my group. I know these issues I listed are some of the same problems you run into managing sick buildings and most likely, more. Folks need to be more appreciative of group moderators and understand what you are doing is a volunteer position without pay and takes A LOT of time. I got a little irate when I read something about money in it for you because you would not do this for free...BUT, owners of DO manage their groups for free all of the time and are often the victims of vicious attacks and rumors and hear says. Anyway, I need to go back to my corner for now but I wanted to let you know I appreciate you and all of the moderators here as well as those who contribute to this group. This is a very well ran group...anyone who has ever ran a busy list can see much work is put into this group and that is absolutely PRICELESS! Take Care and don't let em get you down!
