Guest guest
I have been wrestling ith mold for about a year and now that i think I might have beaten it I have uncovered another toxic problem. When I removed the floor in my basement I uncovered the glue or tar that was used to stick it down and now the toxic odors are killing my breathing and my eyes. I bought something called Hard Seal from AFM which they (of course) swore would seal in the toxins but it didn't work ($900 later!). People have suggested laying down a new cement floor and that would seal it well but that's REALLY expensive and I need to know first if there is anything else I could do. Would a linoleum floor seal the toxins in? Maybe ceramic tile? I'm actually considering living with it till it completely off-gasses (which may take years) which tells you how close I am to giving up on this. Thanks for your suggestions, Surella
Guest guest
Hmmm... maybe go to your local Home Improvment Place and pick up a half dozen masks, a half dozen shovels or scrapers and a half dozen " helpers " ...you know..the ones that hang out around the place. Have them strip it clean. I'm not sure if Porch Paint or that Garage Floor Paint is Non-Toxic, but prolly worth looking into. --- In , " surellabaer " <surellabaer@...> wrote: > > I have been wrestling ith mold for about a year and now that i think I > might have beaten it I have uncovered another toxic problem.
