Hi, Ron,

I don't know anything about the procedure you are having, but I bet you will

feel a lot more comfortable when it is all over with and you are recovered.

I am sure you will be glad you had it done. That is absolutely fantastic

that your mom had a good time with your girlfriend! That will be a huge help.

My dad definitely knew who he wanted to have around, and who he didn't. I

remember the sense of relief I had when I found someone he was comfortable

with. I will be sending you lots of positive thoughts for Friday!

That is so great Ron that your girlfriend was able to stay with your mom and it

all turned out well.

Now you know you can leave for awhile and things will be fine. That's a gem of a

girlfriend!

Is your problem like a minor surgery where you will be in and out in a day? I'm

so sorry you

have to go through yet another health problem. I am keeping you in my thoughts

and prayers.

Maybe you will be able to relax more now knowing your girlfriend can handle it

once in awhile.

lateral internal sphincterotomy

Hi all,

I went to get a procedure done to get rid of chronic hemmorroids

today and found that I dont even have hemmorroids.My internal sphincter

muscle is supposed to open and close with bowel movements and mine is

not opening.I have to have a lateral internal sphincterotomy, friday,

where they will cut part of the inner sphincter muscle to relax it.Has

anyone ever had this done,?Im just wondering how much more pain I will

have after its over.Im not a big fan of pain.lol, On a lighter note,

while I was in there today my girlfriend toulk care of mom and mom had

an awesome time.Its a big step and one that I know I waited much to

long to let happen.My girlfriend always wanted to help more with

mom,but I was always afraid that if I left her there with mom and mom

didnt like the idea, it might ruin it right off the bat, well thats

what a guy gets for thinking.My girlfriend is an awesome, awesome

caregiver and mom had alot of fun with her.You just cant imagine how

happy that makes me.We havent gotten the uti results from moms dr yet

but there havent been anymore delusions either so thats good, thats

pretty much all thats happening here.I hope all is well. Ron

Sorry to hear about your having to have this surgery. I don't know a thing

about it but it sounds painful and I hope they give you good pain meds. On the

bright side, I couldn't be happier for your girlfriend and your mom bonding.

Ron, so relieved to hear that you can have your surgery knowing there is another

body

willing and capable of helping with your mom. That will allow you to have the

necessary

procedure and hopefully recover as you need to without over exerting yourself.

I'm sorry

you need the surgery and hope all goes well. Rest easy and let your girlfriend

do as much

as she is willing. She must really care for you to get so involved. You

deserve it.
