The court has forbidden Kalmadi to attend the opening ceremony of 2012 Olympic

Games. He looked morose on TV after the court's vedict. Kya karein, Kalmadi

sahab, kanoon ke haath thode lambe hote hain.  

There is so much frivolous talk about Kalmadi and his aborted visit to London

that the real issue has got sidelined. Nobody has asked why Kalmadi wants to go

to London for the games. To see London? This is unlikely because he must have

been to London a number of times. For a free holiday? This also cannot be the

probable reason because he can easily afford to pay for his vacations. To

support the Indian athletes? Impossible. He has never done that. Is he related

to the Queen? Ha ha... Sorry, Mr Kalmadi, if you find it sarcastic. 

The truth is out now. Kalmadi has a novel idea. In addition to the Paralympics,

he wants another sporting event to follow and complement the Olympics. He even

has a name for it. Yes, you have guessed it right. It is to be known as

Chorlympics. 

If the Chorlympics become a reality, India will have the biggest and strongest

contingent. The likes of Raja, Koda and Kripashankar will lead the charge at

these games and dazzle the world with brilliant performances. Apart from these

gentlemen, there are numerous chorletes (this is what the athletes competing in

the Chorlympics would be known as) with the potential to win a bagful of medals.

Kalmadi would enter himself for 100 m and the marathon and win gold medals

easily.

Unfortunately, the court failed to judge Kalmadi's motve behind his London trip

and wrongly stopped him from attending the Olympics. Had it not been for the

court's thoughtless judgement, Kalmadi would have ensured glory for India and

its chorletes.
