Guest guest
A minister said something strange yesterday. It is also a stupid statement. In response to a question on 's renewed protest against corruption in the country, the minister blurted out, " If has any problems, he should go to the UN. " He looked irritable when he briefly spoke to the journalist. God only knows what was irritating him. There was no overt provocation for him to act like a fool. However, there is nothing to stop a fool from behaving like a fool if he is determined to be a fool. Not all problems can be solved. Further, it takes time to solve problems. If the problem is not identified and accepted, it gives rise to an inflammable situation. If someone cannot solve a problem, it is still all right. People can draw their inferences about the administration's interest, competence and commitment to deal with various problems. But to tell somebody to go to the UN for a solution is gross stupidity. it is also an insult to the people who expect some mitigating action. Yet the minister said it. The minister should tell us how we can go to the UN with our problems. There are millions of people with problems and they hope the minister and his clan would do something to help them. The minister indirectly said the girl who was sexually assaulted by a mob in Guwahati should go to the UN because no action against the offenders is likely. A woman who was thrown off a moving train in Karnatak should approach the UN because the goons may get off the hook. Suzuki should also similarly ask for the UN's help because nobody will do anything about the violence in their factory. Parents whose children died in the countless pits, holes and sewers too will have to go to the UN because children continue to 'go down the drain' (it is not a figure of speech). Meanwhile, the UN has convened an emergency meeting to prepare themselves for the deluge of problems when Indians start rushing in with their problems. Guest guest
Dr Bharat, I think what the minister wanted to convey was that we Indians were fools to have elected them to run the country and solve our problems, even after so many years of continuous rape of the masses by them...If he meant that, I would have to, unfortunately, agree with him  I hope there is a new coalition of forces in the 2014 elections, so that even a hardcore anti election citizen like me is forced to go to cast a vote against the reigning and opposing crass of Politicians,   Balvinder Rana 87 Subject: Any Problems?
