Aasawari ,

We never used to have such primetime live coverage of soccer/football/futbol in

the US few years ago and I used to sorely miss that.

Now with increasing interest in soccer nationally we are able to watch even

European club soccer and that's such a blessing.

underdog. But at the end it was very heartwarming to see Espana take the cup as

they deserved it so much.

low temps. If only we could get the clouds to go where they are needed. The

drought situation here (yes, even the UK can have a drought but the ecperience

cannot be compared to India where poeple die if there uis a drought whereas in

the UK all that happens is you can't water the garden or wash your car!) has

abated and we don't need the rain anymore especially not when the cricket and

Wimbledon is being washed out. The Olympics are looking dicey as well now.

Yes I know how it feels.........UAE loves soccer and football........so every

where you go ........there are huge promo's....big screens and crazy fans with

their own undying loyalties........ fortunately for both of us ....we like the

same side so we were not warring.......( I guess that would have been

something)......

But now..... its like a withdrawal......miss that time when Zafar would be home,

me and yushi would finish everything and then yes it was watch time.....stay

till late to watch the matches and have a light supper with super

snacks......with comments to match.....

My husband has really made me a sports fanatic......

Aasawari,

frequent.
