Guest guest
I would fully support the use of generic drugs.... & why not ....we save money using them even if they are little substandard! I also feel that the same should apply to all other things that we use in our life.....tv,phone,cars,computers,specially those things that are using Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador should NOT be used....instead use local made poor quality things! Why apply this rule to drugs only?

Guest guest
Dear Ashok, Before being mesmarised by Aamir Khan do a reality check, you take a generic drug yourself (prefrebly an antibiotic) and decide.Do you consider all the doctors of India less informed about drugs than Aamir Khan (a matriculate)? IMA is totally against such frivolous demands and superficial people.I would like you to go through an article by Dr.Panda (Asean Heart Institute ,Mumbai, who operated Manmohan Singh) published in Times of India ,immediately after Aamir show. The article said " Why Blame the Doctors " .Clearly the malaise lies in govt. policy.Govt does not want to spend money for health care and there are very few doctors to serve the common people (as most of intelligent and selfish one leave the country for greed of money and personal gain !) . Yours truly Dr.V.K.Gupta 76 (A govt doctor, serving the common people) ________________________________ To: mgims Sent: Wednesday, 11 July 2012 9:13 PM Subject: Re: Generic Drugs .. & branded phones! Guest guest
your clothes, car, jewelories, other accesssories may not have any direct infuence or effect on your life(span), but the drugs will have direct effect on your life. what should be good quality, drugs(medicines) or clothes, mobiles etc? Guest guest
I must have made mistake somewhere. Do you really believe that the government is in a position to give that order or take that decision? I am not at all emotional. I just want to call the bluff of Mr amir Khan and his intelligent cronies. Now the blame is on the doctors as if they are the ones not writing the generic drugs because of greed. If we throw the ball squarely in the lap of the government and the Amir Khans of this world, we can sit on the sidelines and watch the fun. I regret my poor communication skills. Guest guest
There was no mistake anywhere. I was just watching the response. Everybody missed the irony and took what you wrote literally.
