No manatee stories, too windy.

I was all set to take out the kayak to scout for the manatee

followers, but our dog that was being trained with a shock collar got

a bit of a shock and swam to the side of the river and had no

interest in coming back to Jim. So I got onto the open kayak and set

out to rescue our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and thought he was gonna

head back for Chesapeake Bay.

I spent about 45 minutes dogging him from shore to shore and finally

got a rope around his neck, and then had to physically lift onto the

kayak and try to paddle back home. His weight was in the absolute

wrong part of the kayak, so I just floated backwards back to the

house. I had to lift three sections separately to get him onto the

kayak.

So, I only have a dog story, which is a still a mammal, I am sorry to

let you down. I am so disappointed!

We have the music therapist here from Hospice. She brought her

guitar and is singing gospel so Millie seems to be perked up some.

I am amazed at the services that Hopsice provides. I have not opted

for the housekeeping, but I desperately need to dust and get the

floor mopped.

The massage therapist is a favorite of Millie's. I think the touch

is great for her, and she usually talks about it afterwards.

I appreciate your reading this thread, even though it is so

uneventful.
