Guest guest
Hi, Dianne: Just type in silveredgehealth.com in google (firefox), and it should give you a long list of silver edge info. I had no trouble just now googling it. Forget the http://www preface. Just type in silveredgehealth.com. I've been making silver water for over 10 years - maybe longer - for an abundance of different things - including helping my felines with feline ailments. Beautiful stuff. Along with FLOR*ESSENCE, in addition to CSW - used at different times daily, I cured one of my felines of lung cancer when the Vet wanted her to be 'put down'. She lived to be 18 years of age - many years beyond the lung cancer. Argyria only occurs when silver water is made INCORRECTLY (silver salts). I make my CSW with distilled water. I don't use it daily - periodically if sinus erupts or sore throat starts (gargle 3 minutes and swallow). The flu(s) don't stand a chance against CSW. Nipping things in the bud is important, though. Commercial CSW is horribly expensive - I used to use it long before I started making my own. There are (super) so many uses for CSW. Too long to list here. I keep about 12 quarts on hand - just in case we lose electricity. > ** > > > Hi , > I tried to access http://www.silveredgehealth.com/ on both Safari and > Firefox. Neither browser can find it. Guest guest
That is the kind of question I'm having. Here is where I am finding some answers--still making my way through this. The information below is from this site: http://www.silver-colloids.com/Reports/reports.html regards, mare How To Tell If A Product Is Mostly Ionic Silver Silver solutions are typically clear like water or have a slight yellow tint. These products are clear because silver that is dissolved in water looks just like sugar or salt that is dissolved in water; it has no visible appearance. The producers of ionic silver solutions will suggest that colloidal silver should look like clear water, but this is incorrect. Companies that sell ionic silver claim that their product is " true colloidal silver " in an attempt to confuse the buyer. Do not be fooled. If the product is clear, then it is ionic silver, not a true silver colloid. Colloidal particles, when present in sufficient concentration, absorb visible light causing the colloid to exhibit an " apparent color " . The apparent color is the complement of the absorbed wavelength. Silver ions do not absorb visible light and therefore appear as clear colorless liquids. Many producers of ionic silver recommend that the product be stored only in glass containers. Some specify only amber or cobalt glass bottles because their products are photosensitive and deteriorate when exposed to light. True colloids do not have these issues. > Anyone know why the silver edge CS makers produced such yellow CS? I have never seen anything but clear CS. Clear as water. Guest guest
I don't have a machine yet, but if and when that time comes, (and it just gets more confusing to me all the time) I will use spring water from a local spring. The Silveredge website itself is where it shows me yellow CS. I inquired on the CONTACT space, he sent me a link to an article to read. I reserve the right to not read that because paper will sit still for anything. The fact is, that in the ten or so years I have had experience, I never saw yellow CS. So why is his yellow? Especially if yours, , is not yellow. Maybe you could ask them why yours is clear and they justify why theirs machine produces yellow. Maybe they are not using the right water. Guest guest
If you use Spring water in making CS, you may pick up too many minerals that may affect the silver - and may increase the silver salts which can cause Argyria. The main reason I use distilled water to make mine. I'm not interested in turning blue... or gray (LOL)... from silver salts. I do, however, have a great Spring nearby that I draw water from (free) for drinking and cooking - always stored in glass, not plastic. CSW should be stored in glass (Amber to protect from light - or clear glass if in a dark cupboard). CSW stored in plastic: the silver is magnetically drawn to the sides of the plastic bottles - i don't know why, but it occurs - and plastic (yuk) with bephenols (yuk) - no way. A few years ago, SOTA tested 5 year old CSW (3 yr old, 1 yr old, too) and found no change in the ppm levels. Good luck. > ** > > > I don't have a machine yet, but if and when that time comes, (and it just > gets more confusing to me all the time) I will use spring water from a > local spring. Guest guest
Don't use spring water! Please use as close to distilled water as you can. You run the risk of creating larger particles or photo reactive compounds. I have been making gallons of CS now for a few years. Almost all batches are clear. Occasionally I get a yellow tinted one. I end up giving it to my animals as my wife doesn't want it. I use the Meissner generators and have 4 of them running constantly. http://meissnerresearch.com/products/silver-generator I have a free computer resource cd for folks with Chronic Lyme and co-infections. I have a large folder on CS and the different ways folks make it and use it. See my website to download a copy or have it mailed you free. Guest guest
Since you use spring water for other things, have you tried it ever to make CSW? I just cannot believe that the water God put here would not be good for lots of things. I make iodine with spring water and it is still iodine. Guest guest
hi, Lyn: Everything I read states NOT to use Spring, well or tap water to make CSW. There was a governor out west who made CSW with Spring or tap water and began getting gray spots (Argyria) on his arms. He now makes it with distilled water. Better late than never. My free running Spring or underground river water that I use for cooking and drinking is delicious and safe (I had it tested - absolutely no chlorine in it - thank God!). But I won't be a Guinea pig - I don't want to be another Blue Man... > ** > > > > > Since you use spring water for other things, have you tried it ever to > make CSW? > > I just cannot believe that the water God put here would not be good for > lots of things. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for the info. I never looked into the fine art of making it, so I did not know about detrimental effects to water chosen. I won't be ordering anything for awhile, tho, bcuz I don't have the energy to try to sift through distiller information and CS machine information to hope to get the right information to make an informed purchase. I'm tired of all the complications involved in finding the out the truth. I need a rest. Nor do I have hundreds to put into these two machines. I just finished paying for my water alkalizer in the fall. I'm just glad I went farther on to learn the truth about water and then find a local spring where I could get water cheaper than the cost of filters for the water alkalizer. The machine brought me a long, long way toward health as I drank from that machine by a gallon a day. It is still good for the occasional gallon of acidic water I need for cleaning. Can't beat acidic water for lots of things inside and outside the house. And it's good for those days when I can't or don't get out to the spring on time for spring water. Plus, I am experimenting with putting magnets on my water lines to see if it lengthens the life of the filters. It sure seems like it does, as far as it appears to be going in this first year. (It is still giving me alkaline water and it started telling me to replace filters about 2 months ago! It never goes that long.) So I am thinking that this machine has a certain number of programmed clock hours it ticks off until it says to replace them. So there is no internal thinking way of it knowing that the filters are really full. So I will still get use out of it, for both those reasons. Guest guest
Thanks. Commonly this is called CS or ionic CS. It is also known as EIS. Its helpful if everyone uses the same words to describe what they are talking about. Less confusion that way! Ok please understand that colloidal silver is not a natural occurring substance. It is particles and ions of silver in suspension of pure, and I mean very pure water. When these meet impurities, as found in spring water, they will react and precipitate out. Some of the precipitates are silver chloride and silver nitrate. Both of these are photo reactive chemicals. These are the cause of reports of people turning blue and grey using CS. There are many natural things that cause bad stuff when combined. For example putting a lite match to a paper on the floor will cause a conflagration. You have to be careful on what you combine, not all things God has created are meant to be used together. I am sure you can think of many other examples! When making CS it is important to have as pure a water source as possible. Impurities will only lead to problems. If possible using 100% distilled water is the best way to go. Guest guest
Also you do not have to buy a distiller! Almost all grocery stores sell bottled distilled water for a couple bucks! Just make sure the label doesn't say that " minerals added for flavor " etc! Much easier to do it this way and a gallon of CS can last a good long time too! > Re: Colloidal Silver/ > > > In a message dated 2/22/2012 8:33:01 P.M.
