Guest guest
ALL: LOW-COST “PRELIMINARY” MOLD EXPOSURE EVALUATION: 1. We suggest that you have a MAST test (ref: information below) and other blood testing done prior to any treatment to establish the baseline levels for determining the changes in microbial/toxicity during any formal treatment process. We realize that this is not the best method for determining active fungal biological/antigen activity, but it is thought to formulate an important step in the right direction. Coordinate PANEL TESTS with IBT Reference Laboratory 11274 Renner Blvd., Lenexa, KS 66219. The office number is 1-(800) 637-0370. The “Test Code Number” for the Enviromental IgG Mold Panel #16 is #402763. This is a FDA certified laboratory. These serum testing processes often insurance billable. If not, a “Blood Draw” prescription from a qualified/certified medical doctor is required in order for lab to draw blood. The serum is overnight mailed with a check/money order for $180 payable to IBT Laboratory. Include a short letter indicating “EnviroHealth Research “referral” which saves you nearly $200 on the laboratory analysis fee: (Our part is a free service). Since this is a nationally recognized laboratory used by countless medical doctors/insurance providers, your tests may be covered by your HMO, PPO, etc. This laboratory uses a process very similar to that advanced by Dr. Marinkovich. A. Other applicable testing types w/ID numbers for your doctor’s use: #401704 HSP (Fungal Hypersensitivity Panel). 2) IgG Panel for Stachybotrys chartarum Panel(1) #401712/(2) 401713. 3) BuildingRelated Illness #402409. Call directly for information re: Environmental IgG Panel #16 (the most important for immediate use). When shipping blood-serum specimen follow the instructions below: For Lab: Draw blood into 10mL “red top or serum separator tube.” Allow blood to clot in the original “stoppered container” minimum 30 min., centrifuge clotted blood 10-20 minutes at 2000 x 3000 g in the original stoppered container. Transfer serum from the primary tube into an appropriately labeled, sterile plastic transport tube. The volume of serum required for each MAST CLA panel is IgE 2.0 mL and IgG 0.5 mL. Label plastic tubes: 1) Patient Name 2) Ordering Physician’s Name 3) Date & Time of Collection. Overnight Federal Express Delivery Kits can be ordered directly through the lab at the telephone number indicated above prior to the blood extraction.) Also, standard: CMV, EBV, IgA, IgM, and IgG sub1-4 and normal RBC/WBC tests. Guest guest
, do you know if this is something pretty new that the mayo in manchester is doing? did they do other testing regarding mold exposure? > Not sure about the lab, but my IgG fungal panel was done at the Mayo > Clinic in Rochester, MN. Guest guest
> > , do you know if this is something pretty new that the mayo in > manchester is doing? did they do other testing regarding mold > exposure? > Unfortunately, they were totally clueless about environmental illness. Don't waste your time going there. The doctor I worked with said that they would have to see peer-reviewed studies in established medical journals even before attempting to do anything at the Mayo. You'd think they'd be way ahead of everyone else but I'd estimate they are 10 years behind Dr. Shoemaker and almost totally clueless. The doctor actually said that he's not sure that mold illness is causing all of my symptoms. When I asked him, " well then, what is? " His answer was " I don't know " . Basically, good luck and have a nice life.... But you should be able to get an IgG Fungal Panel blood test done at any major hospital or lab. They have been around awhile now... Guest guest
I worked in a place that had a waterfall five feet away. I made him shut it off. I left shortly.
