Sorry, Dan, I've been using it for years! My teeth weren't just sensitive, they

tended to form abscesses. I have used DMSO many time to kill infections and give

myself a breathing space before having to see a dentist. 

But thanks for reminding me, as I have one tooth which is starting to react to

acid foods. I use the DMSO differently though. I take about half an ounce into

my mouth and swish it around for quite a while (more than five minutes). At

first it stings, but then the pain disappears and stays gone for quite a while.
