Guest guest
> Sorry to hear of your injury; makes life tough. Here's hoping for your fast recovery. Actually the tetanus shot I had to get made my whole upper left side even sorer than the original injury, LOL, but that will be short lived. The lack of physical coordination that led to the accident is another matter <sigh.> > I know about slow typing. Sixteen years post-stroke, my right hand > (dominant) *still* is only slowly recovering - effectively still part > paralyzed. Bane of my life. Bill, I am so sorry. You have mentioned this before but since obviously your mind is as intact as ever - razor sharp in fact - I don't perceive you as a stroke survivor and so I forget that you are fighting your own body as well. My own woes are relatively recent and I'm having a hard time adjusting to what may be the " new normal " for me. Sheesh there are plenty of things I still want to do if this bod would let me. I've felt dismayed about it, but you have about 20 years on me and I can only hope to be as " present " in mind and attitude as you are when I get there. I'm very glad that you illumine this list anyway I'll try harder to buck up now <smile!> - Helen
