Guest guest
The role of allergy testing in asthma management is important the importance of keeping asthma under control through four critical components of asthma care, including: control of environmental factors contributing to asthma severity, providers can recommend avoidance strategies, so that patients can minimize their exposure to triggers, which collectively are responsible for patients to make necessary adjustments to their environment Children cannot make the " necessary adjustments to their environments " when they are in sick schools and inferior moldy rentals and compromised homes, now can they? How can they practice avoidance strategies when they are required to go to schools with water saturated ceiling tiles, rain pouring into their classroom, two feet of standing water in their boiler rooms, flooding in their bathrooms saturating the asbestos laden floor tiles, pesticide application in their buildings and on their grass areas, landfill contamination seeping from the soil they sit on during PE classes, etc.? And now California is saying that home schooling is illegal in California. So even parents who are trying to practice avoidance strategies are going to be compelled to bring their children back into the toxic soup of many public school situations. Doctors need to align themselves with parents who are trying to practice avoidance strategies for their children by keeping them out of sick public buildings.
