Sunshine Week is coming to D.C.! As many of you know, Sunshine Week is a

" national initiative to open a dialogue about the importance of open government

and freedom of information. " On Wednesday, March 19th,

OpenTheGovernment.org will be hosting a Sunshine Week panel discussion on

" Government Secrecy:

Censoring Your Right to Know. " Confirmed speakers include Ann Beeson, Director

of U.S. Programs at the Open Society Institute; Mickey , Director of

the Aspen Institute-Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership and a former

member of Congress; and Podesta, President and CEO of the Center for

American

Progress and former Chief of Staff to President Clinton.
