Guest guest
Hi there, Regarding your enquiry about PT for dizziness. I don't know if this is the same as you are meaning. I was diagnosed with Peripheral Vestibular Dysfunction following a head and neck injury way back in 2002. They prescribed something called 'Cawthorne Cooksey' exercises, to help 're-calibrate' my brain. They were very simple exercises you do yourself (no manipulation or anything), nothing at all taxing but, to start with, they really brought on the symptoms, you do have to persevere at times. I have to say that they did make a difference in time, although I never fully achieved the whole set of exercises but those I did, made a positive difference. Good luck with them Barbara UK. Guest guest
Hi and All When I did this, they didn't touch my neck. They had me do things that triggered the dizziness so my brain would learn how to compensate. It was rough, but it did help short term.
