Guest guest
ly Ian that's what I pay here - $40 for 200mL - you might have to pay that. Jane / Oz -------------------------------------------- I was wondering if any of you could help me? I have been searching the Internet for prices for DMSO, I find that at DMSO.com they sell one gallon which I believe is about 3.78 litres at under $70, unfortunately they do not ship to Europe (I am in Spain). At DMSO.es they sell 110ml of 70% DMSO for ?29.90 that's more that $39. I'm not too hot with maths but what is that about 60 times the price? Is there anybody in Europe on the list who could tell me where I can buy good quality DMSO at reasonable prices? Thanking you in advance for your help. Guest guest
Ian, I believe Spain has a very high import tax to protect it's workers, which of course encourages, buy products made in country. david lubbock tx. > Hello, > > I was wondering if any of you could help me? Guest guest
Hi Ian & All, Have a look here: http://www.orchardequestrian.com/cart.php?target=search & substring=dmso <http://www.orchardequestrian.com/cart.php?target=search & substring=dmso> As they are in a EU country (Ireland) I don't think you would have to pay import fees. To be safe you might inform yourself before ordering. Guest guest
Just a guess on a lead here, but if you have horse racing in Spain, chances are DMSO is being used around the track. Go to the nearest track or training colony and visit a tack shop. Might be worth a try. doug
Guest guest
For parcels coming from a non-EU country no VAT is charged if value is below 22 euro (order + shipping costs). VAT is charged if value is between 22 and 150 euro. Above 150 euro one has to pay VAT + import fees. That's how it is for Belgium. But each EU country has its own rules. It might be safest to check with Spanish customs first how much they would charge. I had an unhappy experience once and I was told by customs " Why don't people ask us before ordering? " Yannic > > You might try the sellers on Ebay (US, UK, Spain...) because some seem > to ask reasonable shipping costs. > Best, > Yannic > > > > > > Thank you all very much for your replies, I really don't think the price > > difference between US and EU can be attributed to Spanish import taxes. > > I'll continue searching and I'll let you know if I find a cheap > supplier, > > the Irish one looks interesting. > > Thank you all once again for your help. > > > > Ian in Spain > > > >
Guest guest
What about all the free trade agreements? > > > > > > Thank you all very much for your replies, I really don't think the price > > > difference between US and EU can be attributed to Spanish import taxes. > > > I'll continue searching and I'll let you know if I find a cheap > > supplier, > > > the Irish one looks interesting. > > > Thank you all once again for your help. > > > > > > Ian in Spain > > > > > >
Guest guest
Spanish customs tend to make things up as they go - not for them any universal truths (like free trade agreements for example) lol. > > > > > > > > Thank you all very much for your replies, I really don't think the price > > > > difference between US and EU can be attributed to Spanish import taxes. > > > > I'll continue searching and I'll let you know if I find a cheap > > > supplier, > > > > the Irish one looks interesting. > > > > Thank you all once again for your help. > > > > > > > > Ian in Spain > > > > > > > >
