Hi,

The site you want to go for Iodine is iodine

and the owner is Buist who is a thyroid cancer survivor and a ND. Not

touchy at all imho. They have 3 moderators, I think, that that are very helpful

and knowledgeable. The best place to go to find out about and learn is

eftuniverse.com and be sure to sign up for their newsletter.

I had a friend who had her thyroid removed, wrong move, because of

nodules...turned out to be calcium deposits, she took TOO MUCH Tums over her

lifetime, her doc said Tums were a good source of calcium...again WRONG

info.....Tums are a NO NO.

She lost a lot of  her voice and knows it was the wrong decision NOW.  So many

people are not informed and listen to these surgery minded docs...

She no longer takes Tums, but did for too many years....j

Wow!! What an awful story! I would never take TUMS! That is awful

stuff! I don't think that this could be calcium deposits. In fact, I have

osteoporosis, and just STARTED taking 600 mg. a day of a liquid supplement

in January. The tumor is a large sphere - just one, and it's 5 cm in

size. It's only on the right hand side, so they only plan to take out the

right side of my tumor. If it turns out to be cancer, they want me to go

back for a second surgery to remove the rest, but I'll deal with that if

and when the time comes.

Hi Jane,

You could leave a message on that email that you wanted to join or you can also

go to health.groups.yahoo.com/group/iodine

and follow the menu.
