Oh Lyn - perhaps I should go dig mine out of storage and try it - the whole

5 gallon tub would now be one kombucha " mother " & I have no idea how I would

get it out of the tub since the screw top cap is totally welded to the body

of the container by encrusted " tea " but since my handyman is here I might

see if we can force things between us - I haven't looked at it for around 13

years :(( LOL!!

(What sort of Iodine do you use?)

The iodine I use is just a batch of Lugols that I tried to mix up. I don't think

I did it right tho because someone else I sent some to said it looks too thin.

But, yes, get that booch out. I can't imagine that what you have is healthy

after 13 years, but you can let me know what you find. I am curious.

The " mother " just kept growing - I meant I'd snip a piece of that and make

tea - I forgot to ask the gardener to lift it out for me - I can't lift it!

I may have to approach it with a machete to open the container and find

another container for it before we begin because if I remember rightly you

can't really put kombucha in plastic - only food grade plastic containers or

glass, I'll have difficulty finding anything big enough!

Hmm. I can't picture just how big it is in your jug, but here's a thot. Do you

have a big crock pot? Would that work?

And would water loosen up the lid? Just turn it upside down in a warm or hot

sink of water?

My husband got a recipe of one cup of each ingredient and it said to take one

tablespoon each morning. He has been doing this for quite sometime. His

cholesterol went way down (with meds) and still going down.

I started Biotin 5 days ago and am seeing some results too. Do we stop once the

wrinkles are out?

Thanks.

Jane,

You might be taking Biotin with other contraindicated supps or meds., for

example, circulation enzymes with chymotripsin would make one feel awful if this

is taken with any Vitamin B. Probably same effects if you are taking wobenzyme

etc.
