Guest guest
Oh bull! You are going to have to show me more documentation behind this warning than that simple 2 sentence one with nothing else supporting it. This is similar to people suggesting that DMSO will carry microbes into the blood stream. It won't happen! doug

You got me into the search mode for the last hour + on " dmso/enamas " & loads of hits...Couldn't read them all but did find the warnings & several that use MSM in the enemas. I wonder why that instead of DMSO when MSM is made from DMSO. Wish I had more science in school than just trying to get through taking art classes :-) ..There were some that used a diluted DMSO 1%. & others that said H2O2 would work just as good...Yikes I think I'll stick to my tsp. a day in juice when I feel I might need it... :-) Lois. Guest guest
You will find that most all of the warnings on DMSO out there on the web are done by people " thinking too much " with not enough practical experience behind that thinking. They reason that toxins and microbes that are harmful and found in the lower GI tract can be transported into the bloodstream--if DMSO is down there. So, they give out warnings that it should not be done. They don't take into consideration a number of factors. For starters, DMSO has many antimicrobial properties as well as anti-toxin. Secondly, it cannot carry everything into the bloodstream. It is limited. Also, consider how dirty skin can be, but I have never had any bad reactions from skin application. Also consider that DMSO is often taken orally which is it entering the GI tract, but just from another end. I could go on and on............ It is always wise to weigh one health decisions on conservatism, but DMSO is pretty fool proof in my book. doug Re: Cancer & enama use warning > Hi Doug, Guess some BS & some not.. Guest guest
Hi again-- I did find this for MSM ---Lois Methylsulfonyl-methane) is a metabolite of DMSO and is a natural organic sulfur. MSM is a safe, effective solution for arthritis, acne, allergies, constipation, muscle pain, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, skin conditions, heart disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, post-traumatic pain. It is used as part of a colon healing implant along with aloe Vera and olive oil. From health-information-fitness.com Enema Recipe: 4 to 8 MSM capsules, empty contents of capsules into warm filtered water. 2 quarts warm filtered water ( Mix well ) Temperature 103° Fahrenheit _Directions for Administering an Enema_ (http://www.health-inform ation-fitness.com/administeringenema.htm)

Good idea to check with " DMSO Nature's Healer " by Dr. & heed some of his warnings just to be safe. Lois
Guest guest
Has to be under 1000 Daltons molecular size to go thru skin. Don't know about colon wall. The bacteria present in colon is far too large to be taken through pores I would think. I would not take that to the bank though!
