Guest guest
Here is a comparison on the various pain relieving supplements available. I had been taking Flexanol which was way down on the list. I have since ordered Flexoplex. and it seems to work well with my knees. http://www.consumerhealthanswers.com/jointreliefproducts Smitty > ** > > > Thanks so much to all those (Smitty, Joyce, Liz, , , Mara and > MB) who have offered advice on how to nip my knee pain in the bud! > > While I am accustomed to dealing with the overall pain of fibromyalgia, > the pain in my right knee concerns me, as I have to go up and down four > steep flights of stairs each time I leave the house. Guest guest
I have been looking at Hyaluronic Acid supps. Interesting comments. Seems no matter which site i go to, they always like this combination of ingredients over all the others. Other places noted Proline worked well with straight HA, but this has more 'evidence' from the peanut gallery. Next time I place an order, I'll have to try this one .. tls 60 caps $12.16 (756) www.iherb.com/Doctor-s-Best-Best-Hyaluronic-Acid-with-Chondroitin-Sulfate-60-Cap\ sules/4457?at=0 Re: Sore knee Here is a comparison on the various pain relieving supplements available. Guest guest
My right knee is the worst and it's my right hip replacement side...everything is WORSE on right side....I never leave the house without a knee support, it helps a lot to stabilize the knee. I wear it in the house too, I have a couple different ones....j ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Monday, March 26, 2012 12:29 PM Subject: Sore knee  Thanks so much to all those (Smitty, Joyce, Liz, , , Mara and MB)  who have offered advice on how to nip my knee pain in the bud! While I am accustomed to dealing with the overall pain of fibromyalgia, the pain in my right knee concerns me, as I have to go up and down four steep flights of stairs each time I leave the house. It's getting harder all the time. Now that I think about it, I realize that I am also experiencing increasing weakness. Several times, that knee has suddenly gone out from under me while on the stairs. Scary stuff. Dealing with fibromyalgia has resulted in reduced exercise, so my challenge is two-fold. I have to treat the pain, while strengthening my muscles and connective tissue. NY Public Library has the book, Pain Free by Pete Egoscue, and I have put a reserve on it. It's important to me to increase my strength carefully. I don't want to cause any new damage while trying to treat the damage I already have. In the meantime, I will be researching the various supplements which have been suggested. I'm familiar with boswellia and turmeric, but I have yet to try hyaluronic acid or MSM. This list is remarkable: so much knowledge, and so many great people willing to share it. Thanks so much!
