Guest guest
I enjoy 2 cups of organic java a day, my biggest " treat " ...use coconut creamer and stevia for sweetener...I have a feeling if I didn't drink this coffee, my joints would be much better . ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Thursday, March 29, 2012 7:30 PM Subject: Sore knee/Dan  >I had similar problems with pain around the knee joints and also around the low spine and across the back of the hip bones mostly.< Hmmm... That sounds all too familiar! I got rid of it by stopping all coffee eating or drinking. It took about 3 weeks of total abstinence from coffee before I could tell much difference, and if I drink any coffee I start to get " arthritis " type symptoms the next day and the second day.< You know Dan, if I drink one cup of high octane coffee a month, it's a lot. Most of the time if I drink coffee at all, I will drink organic decaf, and not too much of that. I do drink one cup of black tea a day (frequently decaffeinated). I wonder if that could be causing my problem? I have this annoying feeling that before long, I will have to give up every darn thing I enjoy!! According to my doctor I have food allergies and am supposed to give up wheat and milk. I have already given up most sugars. Heavy sigh... Guest guest
Hi joyce, Be careful with stevia as it contributes to pain in many people. It happened to me and my father. We both had pain in our feet. When we both stopped stevia we were fine. google stevia and pain....  Tauqir ________________________________ To: " DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO " <DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO > Sent: Friday, 30 March 2012, 3:59 Subject: Re: Sore knee/Dan  I enjoy 2 cups of organic java a day, my biggest " treat " ...use coconut creamer and stevia for sweetener...I have a feeling if I didn't drink this coffee, my joints would be much better . Guest guest
Sometimes pain like knee joints and lower spine and hip pain are caused by simple physical things. Knee pain--especially for older people, when they lay on their sides on a sofa or in bed, one knee on top of the other or laid without support causes pain. Also, if you sit in a chair for long periods of time where the chair is really to high for you (like a computer chair), it can cause pain in the knee and just above the knee. Spine and lower back--many times this can be caused by something totally unrelated to the area. I had problems with the lowest part of the spine and the back on one side (above the hip). Found out the fanny pack caused the upper hip pain part of the time. Also found out that as one ages, there is less padding (water mostly) in the skin. It is also less elastic (also water related). When one puts something heavy (or sits on a non-padded surface), it causes pain which you may feel later (muscle or tissue injured). The solution for a lot of my back problems has been watching how I lift things but mostly sitting on pads. When you sit on your butt, you can actually pinch your muscles and that causes (guessing here) nerve pinches and blocked circulation in the muscle. The result is back (not butt) pain. The more you sit on hard surfaces, the worse the pain gets and you can never get comfortable. Again, DMSO helps with much of this and I still use it but the best cure is to stop the cause. > > >I had similar problems with pain around the knee joints and also around the low spine and across the back of the hip bones mostly.< > Hmmm...
