Guest guest
I can understand the mother being upset only because she doesn't understand how fragrances can harm MCS people however, a rule is a rule which should be followed and not questioned. That's the problem with most kids today! The schools set rules and standards then the parents contest them. The kids run around with purple hair, pants down to their knees, shoe laces undone, skin showing, etc. BUT the parents say they are teens and need to express themselves. I say if the school has a rule then it should be followed! I had many school rules to follow when I grew up and my parents weren't at the school asking why. That's what's wrong with the world today no one wants to listen. I'm happy the school has a no perfume/cologne position and hope they can keep it that way for the health of everyone! I taught in elementary school so I didn't have to put up with any fragrances that early except for the kid/recess dirt smell!I I'd be pasted out if I had to teach in a high school. I was standing in line just the other day and had to move (happens a lot) because the family in front of me must have washed their clothes in ALL Tide without water. It about knocked me off my feet!
