Hi all,

I was handed a Lab Slip today and told to go have blood drawn. A

Routine Culture for Bacteria, Mold and Fungi. Has anyone had this done?

I was just wondering if it's that easy, or if I should request

any " Special " tests. I'm a bit leary, and want to have the proper test

done the first time around and done the right way.

Thanks!

Blood cultures will only come back positive if you have an overwhelming

amount of organisms in the blood. This means that you are very ill and the

only time this comes back positive in my experience is if you are in the ICU

in the hospital or soon to be sent to the ICU. Otherwise, this is a waste

of time. See Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker's website for a long list of lab tests

to consider.

Sincerely,

Is it for an IgG culture? See:

http://www.anapsid.org/cnd/diffdx/marinkovitch.html

He goes by IgG tests if one or two of them are high. Typically an

IgM will not show anything high, even if you're swimming in it...

go to _www.biotoxin.info_ (http://www.biotoxin.info) Dr. Shoemaker's

website. You will find what lab work to have your Dr. do

_http://biotoxin.info/consultations_ (http://biotoxin.info/consultations)

Everything your Dr. needs to

know even the lab sheet is there for you to print out to take to with you if

you can find someone who will listen.

Good luck
