from joyce-----question symptoms chiari

hi,

my daughter who is now 20 has chiari and has had several neurosurgeon consults.

she has had conflicticting ones and drs who say one thing and then another.

deal is at this time, she has intermintant complaints of nasua and headache or

just not feeling well.

she has function well inspite of it.

few days ago she got sick and has been not well since. we thought it is the flu

or i was concerned maybe the issue of and eating disorder was becoming a problem

which seemed better for the last two yrs.

the way she is sick is concening me because of all the complaints of stomache

not feeling well and now she cant hold food down and it isnt seeming like it is

like when a person get the flu because she is better and worse.

i think her chiari is the cause.

i made lots calls today and she is schedulse for MRI of brain and cervical on

tues and for a consult at UC davis after that.

question i have is does chiari cause flu like symptoms?
