May I ask, what is the most accurate method of testing for mold? Why are air

samples not as reliable? Is that also true for mold plate testing, at least the

kind done where the consumer does it and sends it off to the lab?

We have a mold issue from water damage in our home and I believe most of the

testing by the mold testers were done by air sampling. We also did a couple of

mold plate tests on our own.
