Please don't buy it!! It might not be the REAL thing!

I saw a news piece on TV last week about how meds on

the internet and in other countries were made...they

make them look just like the real thing but they pour

paint and all sorts of horrible stuff in them.

When I was in Mexico a few years ago, I bought some

face cream which I had been using 10 years without

problems. This face cream from Mexico made my face

peel and caused all sorts of issues. Though I was

warned to not but drugs there, I did not think any

harm would come from a cream. It was a prescription

cream, expensive here but cheap there.

I was warned by friends in Texas to NOT purchase and

meds over in another country due to the products not

being the same.

You might end up with worse problems than mold..stay

away from that stuff! It looks like the real thing but

more than likely it is not and might be harmful.

Is the package sealed and from a pharmaceutical company you

recognise? Merck or other pill book should be able to tell you how

the capsule and tablet is marked if from original pharmaceutical. If

it's a generic version, no telling. Some of this is scare tactics so

you don't buy it anywhere but get from your doctor but there is also

some junk out there. I would buy it if from the original

manufacturer and each tablet has the shape, color and marks according

to pill book. Once pharmacy I go to misfilled my prescription and

since I was familiar with how pill looks, I could tell it wasn't the

right medicine and returned it before I took any. Original

manufactured medicine has well documented shape, color and markings.

Why are you thinking of taking it? You should only take an antifungal

if you have colonization and you've identified which form of mold has

colonized AND you're sure Diflucan will kill it. It may take a

different antifungal to kill the colony depending on the type of mold

you have inside you. Or, you're taking it because you know you have

candida overgrowth. You should do it under a doctor's treatment and

have a liver function test before starting....

Barb,

I wish I could remember the news show I was watching regarding these

drugs. They had it down to look like the real thing, even down to the

packaging and stamps on the pills. These drugs are marketed mostly

on the internet but can be found without a prescription in other

countries! You would not believe the horrible stuff they put into

those drugs to make them look like thing the real thing! Most only

had small traces of the real drug.

I posted the other day about my cream I bought in Mexico. I bought

the prescription kind here in teh US all of the time and never had a

problem. It was 65.00 here. In Mexico I found what I thought was teh

same thing for 12.00...it looked the same and I bought it... it tore

my skin up really really bad.
