Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My son is 25 months now and has been on SCD diet and supplements for about 4 months and valtrex/diflucan for a few weeks. He is doing well but has had a yeast flare up recently (stimming, rash on belly, etc). My daughter is nearly 9 months and she has been doing really well and we have not noticed any issues up to this point. She is developing well and has met all milestones. She had vaccines at 2 months and no additional vaccines since then (and none in the future if we can help it). We noticed recently that she started waking up in the morning with redness/puffiness under her eyes and she has been scratching her ears and back of the head a lot during the day. This just started a few weeks ago and seemed to coincide with starting to give her some solid foods (only pear sauce and yellow squash so far). Does anyone think that these symptoms are related to yeast? Our son used to do a lot of ear scratching and back of the head scratching and we attributed that to yeast. We are wondering if we should start adding some probiotics to her formula. Any advice on probiotics for children < 1yr old? We have been so careful with our daughter based on our experience with our son. We are worried naturally. Any advice is appreciated.
