Guest guest
Very good news is on it's way TracieTo: miralax Sent: Fri, May 25, 2012 8:26:05 PMSubject: *sigh* As some of you know, I'm a teacher. A student of mine began having trouble in school about 2 years ago -- uncontrollable rage, swearing, attempted attacks on other kids, defiance, refusal to do his work (even though he's smart), tics, stuttering, irrational fears, etc. You know the routine. Found out today he's been on Miralax for 2 years...I almost lost it when the dad told me about him being on this med. As calmly as I could (although I'm pretty fearful I failed), I told him about the side effects, encouraged him to look up the FDA adverse reactions, etc. Told him about this group. His response, "I'll try to look it up, but if it's so terrible, why would the doctors put him on it?" I wanted to scream. I'm so, so sad for this kid. I can see what he can be, but the Miralax won't let him. How are we EVER going to stop doctors from poisoning our kids?
Guest guest
Maybe we could all send the petition to our state school nurses associations. If they were aware, they might be able to advocate for these kids and share with the school counselors. I wonder how much of it they administer in their offices?Carol As some of you know, I'm a teacher.
