Guest guest
Just got the e-mail from Kim, the Surgical Coordinator at TCI. Buddy, our 36 yr old son, is scheduled to be at TCI Jan 19th and 20th for pre-surgical testing and appts and surgery is scheduled for Jan 23rd, 2009. Here's what he is scheduled for. ICT- Invasive Cervical Traction SFT-Section of the Filum Terminale (cord detethering) He was originally also scheduled for Cervical Fusion but they cancelled it because his Dexascan came back positive for Osteopenia and I was told they can't drill into his bones because they could shatter and leave him paraplegic or worse. Please pray for the success of his surgeries and also that we can reverse his bone loss so he can have the Cervical Fusion done soon. He is really suffering....pain all over now and when he urinates (this all started after a dr forced him to give a urine sample last Monday) he gets nauseated, defecates and his head feels like it will explode. Has anyone had this happen after forcing a urine flow? Thanks for all the love and support! Anita
