Guest guest
I can certainly relate to the depression and damp indoor environments. When I am exposed now I get a horrible heavy, depressed, like being underwater feeling and know instantly what the problem is and I get out asap! When I first got so sick the feeling never went away. I felt like I was sinking into the carpet! Guest guest
No, you have to have paid membership and/or pay for the article. You might be able to search out an abstract for it. " The Brown Univ press release contains this quote from the lead researcher, “We thought that once we statistically accounted for factors that could clearly contribute to depression – things like employment status and crowding – we would see any link vanish,” said Shenassa, the lead author of the study and an associate professor in the Department of Community Health at Brown. “But the opposite was true. We found a solid association between depression and living in a damp, moldy home.” http://www.brown.edu/Administration/News_Bureau/2007-08/07-023.html Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- On Thu Mar 27 16:35:49 CDT 2008, happyruiam <happyru@...> wrote: > Link Suggested for Depression and Living with Dampness and Mold > > Published in Journal Watch Psychiatry January 7, 2008 > ------------------------------------ > > FAIR USE NOTICE: >

Guest guest
Are you wanting the study or a article about the study? The study itself, in full, which you cited as published in Journal Watch Psychiatry January 7, 2008 is at the Medscape location I posted. Your Yager citation is not the study and won't be at the Journal Watch site or the Medscape site. I did find " Depression and Living with Dampness and Mold, " January 7, 2008 b Yager, MD, identified as about the Shenassa study. It is at Am J Public Health 2007 Oct; 97:1893. (I don't understand the contradictory dates). Which one are you wanting?
