Lynne, I just did a search for 25mg Grape Seed Extract and there are some

suppliers for this low dose.   Organika makes a 25mg capsule...

and PH

Lynne, talking to some supp companies about this I got an answer of sorts from

Now Foods re: grape seed ex for children.   My grandkids take it and they are

15 and 12, they take 50 mg per day.    Not enough, if any, research has been

done on children's use.   The supp consultant at Now Foods said they are

" young " adults and he didn't think it was an problem.

A doctor would NOT give any advice on this, for sure.   They would probably

say no.

Does your daughter take Vit C, it's an antioxidant.    A holistic peditrician

would probably know more on this issue.    What would I do, if you can find

25mg tabs or caps, start there and see how it goes...they ony build up our

immune systems.   If 25mg seems OK, do that 2 times per day.   Depending on

child's weight factors in too....take with some foods.

I'm certainly not a doc but studied this antioxidant for 17 yrs soon and have

books on it and know what it's done for me.

Have you eliminated wheat and dairy and use gluten free products...

You might consider calling Now Foods , they have an 800 number and ask for

the supplement consutant.   This company has been around for a long time and

offer great products, I use a lot of their supps.    keep us posted on

what you decide to do and hw things are.   joyce

Joyce,

Do you think that grape seed extract could help my 9 year old daughter,

who has terrible allergies.  Is this supplement okay to use with children?

      Thanks,

        Lynne
