Guest guest
has anyone noticed a obsession with rinsing their hands over and over in the tub after taking PEG? How about constantly looking at every little thing like it's a 10 Karat diamond ring? Examining it to the enth degree? Having to fiddle / touch with something constantly while trying to think? repetitive clucking, clapping, hand flapping, grimacing?
Guest guest
Kay, also forgot to tell you that you can repeat hitting ctrl + to make even larger or smaller ----- Forwarded Message ----To: miralax Sent: Thu, June 7, 2012 6:06:51 AMSubject: Re: OCD PEG behaviors Kay, hit Ctrl, then the + sign to make your print bigger, hit Ctrl, then - sign to make it smaller..............The Drug Safety Oversight Board discussed reports of metabolic acidosis, metabolic acidosis with increased anion gap, and neuropsychiatric adverse events in children using polyethylene glycol (PEG) products. Metabolic acidosis is a disturbance in the body's acid-base balance and causes too much acid in the blood. In some situations, metabolic acidosis can be a mild, chronic condition; however, it may lead to shock or death in severe cases. Neuropsychiatric adverse events may include seizures, tremors, tics, headache, anxiety, lethargy, sedation, aggression, rages, obsessive-compulsive behaviors including repetitive chewing and sucking, paranoia and mood swings. http://www.fda.gov/AboutFDA/CentersOffices/OfficeofMedicalProductsandTobacco/CDER/ucm171059.htm From: Kay To: miralax Sent: Thu, June 7, 2012 12:08:30 AMSubject: Re: OCD PEG behaviors I'm sorry, Jeanie, I was unable to read such small print and couldn't figure out how to make it larger.KSubject: Re: OCD PEG behaviorsTo: "miralax " <miralax >Date: Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 6:02 AM Yes Yes yes! Guest guest
Thanks, Jeanie. So the chewing on her arm was listed as an adverse effect. Do you think it will ever go away? I've been making her fresh lemonade and she seems to be a little less anxious.KaySubject: Re: OCD PEG behaviorsTo: "miralax " <miralax >Date: Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 6:02 AM Yes Yes yes!
