A forward from WACMA about our Chip

Chip was in the intensive care unit awaiting a liver transplant the

past weeks.

A liver did not become available for him and the doctors informed us

on Thursday

night that he had become too sick to receive a transplant.

Our family gathered lovingly around his bedside in prayer and love. We

lovingly

helped him make his transition to heaven on Thursday evening.

Chip is now one of God's special angels in heaven.

Chip's goal was always to be there for his Chiari family, to be able

to support

them in any way he could and to continue to " help more people " as his

journey

progressed. I know that Chip, in his free spirit form, will continue

to love

his WACMA family and he will be watching over us and loving us all and

be there

for us. He made a special request that we do not mourn for him, or

spend time

in sadness over his passing. He wanted to make sure that we celebrated

his life

in joy and happiness, recalling the fun and wonderful times and

memories while

he was on earth. As an angel, he will be with us and would hope that we

continue his mission of supporting other Chiarians and to continue

creating

Chiari awareness in the world.

We ask that you keep all of our family in your prayers, especially

Sandi as we

process our loss.

May you be blessed and love deeply.
