Guest guest
Sometimes I lay In bed all day My muscles so weak My thoughts Run astray All energy gone I have none to spare Afraid to get up To the pain I'll bear Afraid to stay The future seems bleak I tell myself It will be different Next week Dare I hold a cup To my lips with thirst And take a pill Is this my first? The fog is so thick I haven't a clue Did you say my new slippers Are Red or they're Blue? A year ago or was it two The person I was Was so much like you And remembering thoughts Was so easy to do The illness upon me I did not invite The Mold that was growing Was not within sight How could I have known What could I have done To prevent this from happening To even just one While the children are coughing And can't seem to learn The insurers get richer ACOEM should burn!
