Guest guest
Just another reminder on pursuits and their danger to all. OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A car trying to flee police went the wrong way onto an interstate exit ramp Thursday morning, slamming into a highway trooper's car. Both people in the suspect car and two officers were killed. Authorities don't yet know why an Oklahoma City officer was trying to pull over the car at about 3 a.m., said Sgt. Cris Cunningham. The car, with two people aboard, tried to enter Interstate Highway 40 via an exit ramp and clipped a tractor-trailer before colliding with the car of a passing Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, Cunningham said. She said the police officer was unable to stop in time and all three cars became entangled in a fiery mess. The identities of the dead officer, trooper and two suspects were not immediately released.
