Subject: A word of warning about GSE

If you suffer from stomach acid or gastritis, then GSE can wreak havoc with your

digestion. I can't take it unfortunately and am still trying to find a

stomach-friendly alternative. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be really

grateful.

Personally, I know 4 powerful antioxidants:  Pycnogenol, Grape Seed Extract,

Resveratrol and Astaxanthin, the latest one on the scene.  I've taken all of

them in one form or another..but my favorite is Grape Seed Extract.

Costco carries a Grape Seed Ex with Resveratrol in it, but it contains Soy and I

like to avoid soy.  This product is called TruNature.

In a previous post on this forum, someone posed the question " what is G.S.E " and

the reply was " Grape Seed Extract " . So that's what I meant. Having researched

GSE, stomach acid is a known side-effect. Will try some of the suggestions and

see what happens.

Does anyone know if Nattokinese capsules work? Many thanks.

I've been able to take Grape Seed Ex on an empty stomach for a long time, but do

take my afternoon dosing with food in my stomach.  I also work on keeping my

stomach in a more alkaline state and use digestive enzymes, probiotics and

DGL...I also take pain meds and it's a constant fear for the stomach...I use pH

drops with all my water I consume....joyce
