Joyce,

eggs that have been fertilized at exactly 9 days, have all the nutrients

necessary for life, they also lower cortisol levels by up to 50%. Lowering

cortisol levels reduces pain. They only use the egg white. A lot lot more

info at my website Joyce. www.mylifepharm.com/openthedoor. also many audio

and video testimonials at www.lifepharmhome.com. Its a mlm, and my first 2

signups were doctors. *I dont promote anything on the forum, but when you

specifically mentioned eggs. I felt *

*i should at least direct you to more info on that subject. *

I often chew on glace or crystallized ginger - we have one hear with minimal

sugar - have you tried that?

OT/Eggs, the perfect food.

I'd like to hear from anyone on eggs. I've read so many articles on the fact

that eggs are almost the perfect food. And especially the free range eggs...

Then, there is the information that the yolks increase inflammation in the

body. I like eggs and was cutting back on yolks, but the yolks are also high

in nutrients....

Such a dilemna with the eggs.....i have a lot of body pain and really really

work on cutting out inflammatory foods.....thanks all. joyce

re: eggs,

i'v always believed that if god made it, and we eat it the way he made it,

it should be good. when i went to this n.d. he said everyone was allergic

to eggs because they incubate vaccines in eggs, hence, your body identifies

the egg with whatever the vaccine is. allergy!!!!! allergy foods cause

imflamation.

wonder if that is why it has been demonized because what it may do to our

body is the result of the vaccine?

my allergy tests show allergic to them. bummer!!!!

they are such a great source of protein. as far as the cholesterol thing

goes, cholesterol is only demonized because they have a drug to lower it

and want to sell their drug. since it's development, they have lowered the

acceptable number 3 times. they are now testing 2 yr olds and prescribing

to 8 yr olds.

our brain is made up of cholesterol. when we eat foods that are

homogenized, sugars, hydrogenated, these damage our arteries. and guess

what rushes out to repair the damage. cholesterol. so if we give up the

above altered food (and others) we wouldn't have as much cholesterol in our

arteries.

just my take on it.

I now eat my pastured eggs raw. They are so much better and better for

us! I crack it, let the white run into a bowl and let the yolk just slide

down my throat. I save the yolks and make meringue, as in the recipes from

Sally Fallon's " Nourishing Traditions " , in my dehydrator. Sometimes I just

let the whole thing- white and yolk slide down my throat- like a bird.

Wonderful and so much more digestible than cooked eggs. You might find,

Joyce, that you won't have any inflammation from them this way. After you

do it one time, you'll be hooked!

Apparently I lost the original purpose of your question ..

if you feel good eating eggs whatever way, then eat them,

As to clinical evidence or science, I know Mercola spoke of this years back and

found all evidence lacking that eggs are bad for you. In fact he mentioned the

now-famous case of a guy who ate a dozen or more each day for years and was in

perfect health. If reactive to them, that's another long story.

Enough Choline is hard to get in the diet, and eggs are one excellent source.

As to AA ... when it is part of a food complex, it is not the end-product of a

metabolic process. AA is needed, and too much can cause inflammation .. as can

a zillion other things. Remember this AA-Sears idea is a physiologic theory and

not solid fact. I'll go w/ thousands of years of Eggs and pathguy as my science

back-up. he has lard posters at his website .. lol. ---tls

Yes, it's Daiya, comes shredded and in wedges, I'm going to try it very soon...I

want to be off dairy cheese and don't want soy....

I've decided to start eating hard boiled eggs some days, need to chew and I

understand the raw egg theory, but I like to chew my foods...

I deal with lots of inflammation  and from lower back issues, spinal stenosis,

and know foods can exaserbate so much.

Eveything got so much worse after hip replacement, fix one thing, and other

things can get worse....vicious cycle....

Hello all,

I raise chickens and we eat fresh eggs daily. There is a huge

difference in both taste and nourishment between store-bought eggs

produced in chicken battery operations and home raised eggs. For one

thing, I no longer have the split/cracked fingertips and hangnails that

I used to get in the winter time. I suspect that the collagen content

is far h igher in my eggs than in store-bought eggs. We each have a raw

egg every evening in our protein shake as well. Only time I do not have

eggs for breakfast is in wintertime when our chooks are molting and egg

production drops. We also eat egg salad which we both love. Our usual

breakfast is two eggs over easy cooked in coconut oil or butter.

I think that they are one of the most perfect foods that we can eat, and

all of the crapola about the cholestrol content is just that, crapola.

The cholestrol in eggs is of the high-density lippor type, the good

cholestrol.

I can only imagine the difference between the home raised eggs and store

bought.....our farmer's market here sells them, but I don't get to the farmers

market...so my best is whole foods and our coop free range....

Same with fresh chicken, store bought vs home raised......

Fresh eggs are a whole different thing to store bought. The yolks are orange

not pale yellow, for one thing. They taste SO much better! I miss my

chickens!

We have 15 chickens and they love any green stuff .

Salad scraps, tomatoes, even corn husks.

The eggs are great

I put then in a sauce pan along with butter, salsa, left over hamburger,

fish.

Just warm them up never over 110 F on a very low flame

If there isn't much meat I'll have six eggs.

Usually 4 or 5 every day

Drink them scrambled,

I am 78 and the cholesterol is okay

Hello all,

I never believed the b.s. about eggs. I Raise a few chickens. Every morning I

have a health drink: 2 raw eggs (yum) Curcumen, Chia seed, napolitos,2000 vit C

(crystal only)banana, strawberries, and blackberries or raspberries when

available. At a different time of day I take 2x MMS sometimes MMS + DMSO, and

lastly,a half a teaspoon of sulfar. I'm 71, in perfect health, haven't been to a

doctor in 7 years. Don't plan to go.

EGGS RULE!

All my chicken want is bread! I give them the roughage (apple, beet, kale,

celery, carrot etc) from the juicer, with mash, grains, ACV, oils, D:E,

whatever bits & pieces with leftovers and they only want the bread. It all

goes, eventually, but the bread always goes first - I buy organic bread of

all varieties, not usually wheat tho.

Jane,

I have 14 layers, of 3 lyrs age. I will not give them much bread. It

can stick in their crop and cause them to not be able to eat. I only

give mine a little now and then, and mostly toast crusts, etc. Mine get

lots of fresh produce since I plant more than we need. The eggs they

produce are really tasty. I have never eaten better ones in my life.

Mine dont get much bread but this is what they love I observe when I mix it

in with everything else & cut into small cubes.

Unfortunately the three new younger birds I introduced are not accepted even

after 2 months, the 7 two year olds killed one and never while I'm around

allow the two remaining birds near the food - not sure what else I can do

tho. When I take treats to them I have to protect them for them to get

anything - they would be around 20 weeks now.

They will get big enough eventually to whip up on the older birds.

Until then, they will be ostracized. It can happen, even to the older

ones killing younger ones, newbies. Do your old birds still produce eggs?

The older ones are less than 2 years old - that's what I was hoping that the

younger birds would get more confident as they get older - there's only a

years difference between the two - the older & the younger - I only had

chickens since April 2011 and those birds were only just starting to lay,

back then.

Thanks Gerry.
