" There are no apparent air-quality issues at Walton Ferry, " Steve Nichols, assistant director for operations and maintenance said at the school board's study session Tuesday. The test, performed on March 11, was ordered after a report by Siemens, a national energy conservation company, recommended the building be thoroughly investigation for mold. The Siemens report said one of its engineers became sick after investigating ductwork above the ceiling tiles. The test checked a variety of potential air contaminants, including mold, dust, pollen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and radon. — ERIC MILLER emiller@...
