Guest guest
Hi, did you try ARmour thyroid? it has T3 and T4. I was so much better on that. I still take it. My new endo tried to put me on synthroid and I got hives, and needed to lower the dose again. Also retained water on snythroid meds only. This summer I went to an endocrinologist and found out through blood work that I have Hashimotos. I am wondering if there is a specific diet to use to keep my emotions stable.  I don't mind being led via this group to a book or a web site which works.I am also low insulin as well as celiac sprue and allergic to milk. > > Thanks! > > Carole >
Guest guest
Hi Carole, Your emotions will become stable when you replenish the thyroid hormones, especially T3. As for a good Hashi diet I like this site: http://diet.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Thyroid_Diet No diet fits us all, I modify each diet plan to fit my needs and omit the foods that cause allegrens to form in my body. The most important thing is to eat raw unrefined foods and organic when possible. My doctor ran another food allergy test on me last month and my downfall was eating shell fish and certain spices along with corn. The tests say wheat/gluten is negative but I plan to stay clear of it nonetheless. Good luck, ~Bj > > I was diagnosed with low thyroid independently about 6 years ago by a nurse using blood testing with a lab since the doctor I was seeing said my blood numbers didn't indicate low thyroid.
