Guest guest
My son has been experiencing clear sticky fluid coming out of his ear for a while now. He went to the ENT and the ENT said it's impossible for CSF to be leaking from his ear because there is not evidence of an opening there. Has anyone had any experience with this? We have an appt with TCI Dec 29th and they said if there is a leak, it needs to be found and fixed before our visit. Can there be a leak and the ENT isn't finding it with just his exam? Are there other tests done to find out for sure and is the ENT right when he says it's impossible for a leak since he doesn't see a hole in the eardrum? I do know about collecting fluid and getting it to the lab. We have the kit. I'm asking about xrays, ct, mri, etc. Thanks for any help you can be with this.
