Guest guest
Hi, I just have to mention I was on an iron overload list and they told me to read Survival of the Sickest. It has some amazing and unreal info on histoplasmosis. (not much on mold that I recall) If you are interested in strange medical mysteries its fascinating. Alice Hi Sharon, Would you or anyone on the list perhaps know of the best battery of testing to get if you have copd, but don't know the root causes? I'm not so sure how versed our Doctor is on mold or fungal sources. I do suspect some possible problems from mold related issues. --------------------------------- You rock. Guest guest
I absolutely loved this book. I'm typing the chapter on MSH and would like to share it but I don't know if I can do that. The book is easy to read and you won't be able to put it down. He talks about host manipulation and I relate it to mold exposure. Mold wants to keep us sick so we can't clean it up. That way it ensures it's survival. I didn't pay attention to the hitoplasmosis part because I didn't think I was impacted by mold. But I'm going to dig that book out and read that part again. Thanks for this post. In his book he tells how the parasite that causes toxoplasmosis reproduces. It's only in cats you know. When mice eat the droppings of cats with the parasite the mice will become lethargic, fat and unafraid of cats. What happens to a mouse that becomes lethargic, fat and unafraid of cats? It gets eaten by a hungry cat allowing the parasite to reproduce. This is a perfect example of host manipulation. What happens when humans get toxoplasmosis? They think it causes schizophrenia in some people. Fascinating book I highly recommend it... > > Hi, I just have to mention I was on an iron overload list and they told me to read Survival of the Sickest.
