Guest guest
Hi, I am a chiarian, had decompression surgery at TCI on 8/10/05 and Ive slowly gotten about 70% better. I used to say 80% but I still have a rough time some days. Ive recently , last 6 months started taking Vicodin in the afternoon for pain. I cannot do much physical stuff as it makes me sick, like the flu. My neck hurts alot still at times. Its just recenly shown up in a mylogram that I have really bad arthrtis in it plus a herniated disc... Im still working but about to file for SSD and yes I will get a attorney when Im denied and Im prepared to fight for it for several years if need be....I can live with most of the pain and problems, even the neck issues...But there is one thing I would like your opinion on...I now have, as seen on another MRI and Mylogram, " God Im surprised I do not glow in the dark " a herniated disc at L4-L5 and Ive had two discectomies there in 86 and 87 and its spilling to the left.. But my right leg hurts and is numb on the right..Also they found another herniated disc at L2-L3 and its herniated and prodruding to the left even worse. But my left leg is not affected all that bad.. Just the right leg, if the disc does not disolve or whatever they do (get better) soon Im going to end up with a leg brace...Doctor Adler, who trained under Doctor Milorat by the way, for those of you who know Dr. M. at TCI.. Anyway Adler told me that surgery may not help me and he does not know why all the pain, numbness, pins and needles, etc. is on the right leg and not the left leg....Ive had back issues, leg pain, numbness in my right leg for years but these disc herniations are recent in the last few months.... I know we are supposed to only talk about chiari issues but I am at the end of my rope. Im 51 and falling apart slowly, it seems my whole spine is a mess and I would like to hear some of your experiences and hopefully solutions... Im Sick and Tired! Thanks!
