Guest guest
Need to know if DMSO can be applied directly to a scabbed over scratched area. My neighbor next door got a bug bite on her ankle and she scratched it to the point it became an inch diameter sore with swelling of the area before she realized what she'd done....it's just above her ankle. Of course, her Dr. is getting her to take an antibiotic...ugh! She's a vet tech over at the MSU Vet Clinic and is concerned about the exposure to all the infectious stuff that floats around there contaminating it. I had her put aloe vera on it, but have to think the aloe vera w/ DMSO would be better. Of course, maybe there's a better choice than that, if so would like to know. My main question is just applying DMSO directly to a wound.
