Guest guest
Sorry - forgot to ask if anyone has a meningioma? Started having seizures mid 90's, and at the time couldn't find any relationship to seizures with Chiari. Have learned differently, lately. But doctors kept asking ME why I was having seizures. Until a meningioma showed up on an MRI film in the left parietal lobe - they said a hard to find place? And then was told that that was the reason for the seizures. Was told to have a scan every year to see if it's grown, but they won't do it. That was 9 years ago. TCI saw it, and when I couldn't see a day in sight when I could be able to afford to go there, I asked for that series of films and the others back, and started the uphill battle here in Pittsburgh again, to no avail. A well -known doctor recently looked at the tumor, and I made sure that he saw it, and he did. After his MRI, it not only did not show up, but he said that it must not be big enough to be causing problems. It is, but he left the room before I could remind him of the seizures, and also an EEG showed that there is a moderately sized lesion in the left hemishpere that needs to be looked into further. Ignored again. Why do they do that to us? Truly, why? Debbie _________________________________________________________________ You live life online.
