Guest guest
I had lunch with one of my co-workers yesterday. He was not too receptive of my verbal discriptions on health effects from Trichothecenes. Infact, he renounced any ill affects, with the acception of a very bright pink and white area on his ankle that was extremely itchy and he for months had been digging at it, scratching till it bled. I explained that " ALL " of our department health issues could be tied to our Mold exposure and also our families health issues, since we were working in such a small room with a huge concentrated area of Chaetomium Mold. I explained the cross- contamination possibilities... Our cars, homes, family, pets, and our New Building! To name just a few health conditions the department went through/ are still going through are as follows: burning eye irritations, sneezing, coughing, choking episodes, burn rashes, pimple-like facial rashes, hairloss, asthma, bronchitis, pnuemonia, carbs cravings, irritabilities, depression, sharp stabbing pains, intestinal upsets, intestinal bleeding, nausia, vomiting, tendon tightness, muscle fatigue, joint pain, headaches, bloody noses, bi-polar disorder, tourettes syndrome, raynauds syndrome, diabetes onset, guillome- barrett syndrome, osteomylitis, dermatitis, extreme fatigue, sleep apnea, nightmares, tremors, twitching, dizzy spells, extreme sleepiness, coma-like episodes, hallucinations, flu-like syptoms, fever-chills, bladder urgency, bladder irritation, dark urine, continuous cold sore breakouts, fungal nail infections, swollen glands, blurred vision, distorted vision, severe anxiety and stress, heart palpatations, holding your breath, speaking softly or whispering, unable to respond when asked a question, getting lost in familiar territory, confusion with math or numbers, dyslexia, indecisive and problem solving, joint pain, confusion, concentration and memory problems, daydreaming, short term memory loss, interuptions in thought and speaking abilities, low back pains, leg heaviness, stiff neck episodes, uterine fibroids, miscarriages, excessive menstrual issues -length and amount, latex allergy, boils, abcesses, dental problems, infertility problems, kidney stones, personality changes, family problems, gambling and impulsive buying behavior, shoulder syndrome, wieght loss, weight gain, gait problems, hyper-activity, Lung Cancer, Brain Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Liver Failure, heart attacks, sudden onset encephalitis, light and noise sensitivities, pyloric ulcers, acid reflux, anemia, bone healing problems, and all this just in one department! AND the entire Hospital Staff suffered the same illnesses! So, trying to convince him is not easy, with him saying you can't blame everything on MOLD! We finished our lunch with him saying ...OK, send me some info on it then, and I'll look it over. YEAH! So may I ask all of you for some help? What is, in your opinion, the best articles you've come across and saved ...(URL) links to? He's lazy and doesn't want to put forth any effort to do any researchon his own, since he's NOT sick..like I am. I explained he could be just as sick but not showing signs ...YET. I told him he might not show any signs, but just may keel over unexpectedly! He then told me he had a chest/ side pain about 4 weeks ago that brought him to his knees and was taken away by ambulance during working hours. He also said he had had an abnormal lab result.. ...I raised my brow...and said hmmmmm. Thanks Group!
