use of pillows with the vest

I have been using the bed pillows, and Hill-Rom said that was fine. I mentioned that I had heard of someone using a back bed rest--not sure about the exact name. It is like an overstuffed chair with back and arms, no seat or legs that you place on the bed to sit and read. It could be used, but the ones that I saw on the Internet cost $127.00 which is too expensive for me, and I am not sure that it would be any better than the pillows. I did see one on Target.com that was only about $29.00 available in the store. I would need to cover it with a washable cover as I inhale Mucomyst in my breathing treatments which is a very sticky medication that makes all the furniture and floor sticky.
