Guest guest
I have purchased natto for years from the Kushi Store online, and years ago, on Newberry StreetBoston Erewhon had a store. This is he ingredients in one of their Nattos. 5.3 oz. Hama-Natto Savory Miso Soy Beans Mitoku Savory Miso Beans " Hama Natto " are a traditional Japanese fermented soy food. First prepared by Zen priests in the 15th century as part of their vegetarian cuisine, they are still hand-made in the same, completely natural way. Hama Natto are prized for their delicious gourmet flavor and rich, heady aroma. Savory Miso Beans can be eaten as they are, as a tasty hors d'oeuvre with tea, beer or natural saké. They are also used as a condiment, like Tekka, on brown rice, vegetables or noodles. Mixed with grated radish (daikon) and seasoned to taste with Ponzu, they make a traditional side-dish that's both delicious and full of goodness. Hama Natto also makes a nice, mild substitute for the regular " sticky " natto. Ingredients: natural fermented soybeans, ginger, and sea salt. DM In a message dated 7/14/2012 4:21:29 A.M. Guest guest
i have used the lumbikinaize (sp) which is 'earth worms " , and it really does work to thin the blood. when i saw the natto cheaper i was tempted, but then saw it came from soy and wondered if it were gmo free. still wonder. on the OPCs is that the pycnogenol and/or grape seed ext. either one being beneficial? one better? also, do you have any comparison for ginko biloba for thinning blood. it does so but wonder if the OPCs better? want to get this straight before i order. also, have been ordering from swanson's as they carry some of the things i needed, so is there a brand there that is good, or is the vitacost one better. have ordered from them before. barbara > ** > > > I have purchased natto for years from the Kushi Store online, and years > ago, on Newberry StreetBoston Erewhon had a store. Guest guest
Barbara, my experience, 17 yrs worth. When I got on Pycnogenol back in 1995, we were told it " may " prevent cancer....that was the MAIN reason I got on it. The first thing it did was get rid of allergies/sinus/sinus headaches....what a surpirse.... The rest is history, I bought books on this antioxidant..and took Pycnogenol for 1 yr...For that year I was paying $40 a month for Pycnogenol, but I had no more allergy/sinus issues....well worth every penny. Then talking to a nutrition consultant at Rainbow Acres heath food store about pycnogenol and the costs, she said " why not take Grape Seed Extract, it's just as good and less money " ....so that made my decision. The rest is history and I like both but recommend Grape Seed Ex to everyone I can...I bought my Grape Seed Ex from swansons for years and their Pycnogenol is pretty affordable too. But, I found ActiVin from vitacost and like it a LOT...200mg two times per day at least for me NOW. As I've said, cancer research hospitals are using Grape Seed Ex in their cancer research, they may be using Pycnogenol as well, but I've never looked it up....I'm sold on Grape Seed Ex (OPC's)....joyce ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Sunday, July 15, 2012 4:42 PM Subject: Re: Natto was / Re: Coumadin replacement i have used the lumbikinaize (sp) which is 'earth worms " , and it really does work to thin the blood. when i saw the natto cheaper i was tempted, but then saw it came from soy and wondered if it were gmo free. still wonder. on the OPCs is that the pycnogenol and/or grape seed ext. either one being beneficial? one better? also, do you have any comparison for ginko biloba for thinning blood. it does so but wonder if the OPCs better? want to get this straight before i order. also, have been ordering from swanson's as they carry some of the things i needed, so is there a brand there that is good, or is the vitacost one better. have ordered from them before. barbara > ** > > > I have purchased natto for years from the Kushi Store online, and years > ago, on Newberry StreetBoston Erewhon had a store.
