Guest guest
It's crazy that part of this illness is the craziness that comes from not knowing what to do! I think if you feel in control of your health then you can start judging what needs to go or stay. In general the material is the key thing: paper products are such magnets that I threw everything out. Metal is less so, clothe can be washed and plastics went either way. In the height of my craziness I threw all plastics away and felt better for it because it gave me a sense that I was taking care of me. I doubt very much the clothes washed with your contaminated clothes need to be thrown away-maybe wash them again in hot hot water with bleach if they are whites or with borax. In general if you are still sick when you get home then something at home is making you sick-but I feel that the cross-contamination should be very light.
