Guest guest
DMSO is known for being a mood elevator. I find that true when I take it orally but not when used topically. I feel realllllllly good and all is in loving Hands. One of the " fathers " of DMSO took out several patents to mitigate the odor. One uses nitrogen, another honey. It's true the nitrogen mitigates the odor in the body. I'm not sure I get as much DMSO effect when it's been mixed with the nitrogen but meh. I use nitrogen pellets from the farm store. Mix them with water first since they will not dissolve in dmso. I have no access to the liquid nitrogen from the farm store but since it is constituted of nitrogen and water, I likely would use it even being unsure of the water source. The nitrogen method worked so well that I haven't tried the honey method for odor. I do have some dmso/honey for eye drops. You are correct that several persons have reported that the cleaner, that is, free of toxicity, one's system is, the less the DMSO stinks. I've not reached that place as I live/breathe in a city. I do, however, have plenty of evidence to believe it to be true. Before I found Herschler's patents [google " herschler dmso patent] I only took DMSO orally with a like amount of liquid chlorophyl and chased it with a similar amount. Not sure it did anything for the stench but my mouth tasted better. Finally, there are several process to clean farm store DMSO. [some have said that what they buy from Nature's Gift doesn't stink but that has not been my experience ever.] One way to clean DMSO is to freeze it in the fridge and pour off any liquid. Another is to get a .2 micron lab filter and use that. DMSO freezes at 67ºF. Your fridge should be at 40ºF. At 40º, anything that is not frozen is not dmso. And it realllllly stinks. I generally pour from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass bottle w/ plastic lid; lean it at an angle in the fridge so that any non-freezing liquid doesn't get locked beneath the frozen dmso. I pour the liquid off and then waste a bit of DMSO by rinsing the ice with some EISilver as that's usually the only distilled water I have on hands. Make sure your container is closed as dmso attracts humidity and will fill up with fridge damp. After the rinse, leave it on the counter (never heat) to thaw. Last time I ran the frozen stuff thru 4-5 coffee filters several times. I don't have the lab filters yet. Not sure it made a difference...haven't used it yet. It should help...Cook's Country says that the diff between top shelf vodka and the cheapest stuff is the amount of filtering one does. I hope to get a junk filter pitcher at the salvation army store this week and see what a charcoal/paper filter does for the dmso. At some point I'll buy lab filters. my 2¢. Guest guest
Chlorophyll neutralizes most body odor. You can eat copious quantities of parsley and maybe help the stench. I've taken dmso with liquid chlorophyll but can't tell if it helped. Perhaps it wasn't enough--I took double the quanatity of chlorophyll to dmso. Perhaps if you tried more? I think ozone insulfation might do it but it would also counteract the antioxidant effects of the dmso. slp www.dmso.org/articles/information/muir.htm DMSO reduces inflammation by several mechanisms. Guest guest
I think empty stomach is best as dmso is known for being a potentiator and therefore food in the stomach could be potentaited. I have heard of people taking supplements at the same time for increased absorbtion. Guest guest
Joyce.. take it on an empty stomach. I take about 1 tsp to 1 tbs in a glass with about 1/4 - 1/2 cp of distilled water, slosh it around in my mouth, then swallow. I chase it with another 1/2 cp of distilled water, rinsing out my mouth. Guest guest
Larry.. I have been taking DMSO orally for a while now and get no complaints about odor but.. I do buy my DMSO from www.dmso.bz Their DMSO is a 70/30% ratio and it is mixed with honey. Odor isn't too bad topically either. I think they use a high quality DMSO and I am not sure I would trust the vet grade orally. Lola H.

Guest guest
I have a store that sells water that is said to be made like distilled. How can I find out for sure that it is, in fact, distilled? Guest guest
I buy all my distilled water from arrowhead, I don't know that there is pH in distilled water, everything is distilled out.  Call the company who makes the water and ask them about the pH level.  I use pH drops (Body Rescue) in all my drinking water...Volvic and Fiji water has a high pH and they state it on the  bottle.  Other spring waters (cheaper) do not state the pH and I add my drops to that water too.  Fresh lemon juice drops brings up the pH too. joyce ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 8:25 PM Subject: Re: I TAKE DMSO ORALLY, NEED SUGGESTIONS  I have a store that sells water that is said to be made like distilled.
