I haven't been on the site for a while as I was having problems

having a bm even with MOM and had entero lab do some tests on me and

went off wheat,gluten and cows milk. I became very ill and lost so

much weight and my doctor did a colonoscopy and discovered that my

rectal opening was gettin smaller and closing and he did a anoplasty

and grafting to make a normal rectal opening. Now I am trying to

recuperate and trying to get some weight back but its a struggle at

72 years of age. I almost died. I was told that I was going without

a lot of nutritious foods and tests were done during the colonoscopy

and endoscopy (biopsies) and showed no sensitivity to gluten,wheat

and Iwas tested for cows milk although I still try to avoid them

some. I called entero lab and explained my situation and she said to

go back on cows milk a little. I still can't get a hold of Dr. Fine

to ask him. That I didn't quite ubder stand. The doctors I have been

to and believe there were many experts said if these tests that Dr

Fine does than why haven't they heard about him and why aren't they

covered by medicare and made known to the public by other doctors

and they also said the internet is some where you need to be

cautious about as they checked it and said that its extra money for

every tests and the only way to be tested is thru the internet and

they found it very suspicious. I'm beginning to think the miralax

situation pertains to children as I have been off miralax and on MOM

and still get sores in my mouth and sometimes worse that when on

miralax. I'm really puzzled but right now am under strict doctors

care and do feel a little better/ What is the real answer and how

does one make a decision for what I am going through. Sometimes

things just don't work out for everyone and now since my surgery I

have had to cut my MOM down to 1 tsp and still may have to quit it

and take something else as it gives me cramps and dirrhea. I am so

confused but I feel a bit better after the surgfery which will take

months to recup. This is just my sory. thanks for listening. I still

think my mouth sores came from the new mouth guard as its not much

better and at least the miralax helped me to have a bm naturally. oh

well we'll see as I haven't switched to miralax yet. sincerely marg
